Visual artist and educator based in Illinois. My work is shaped by personal experiences and the people and sounds that leave a lasting imprint.
Primarily working in oil, I create expressive portraits and figurative pieces. The process is intuitive and layered, allowing each piece to evolve through both technical refinement and emotional connection. The work is a reflection of lived experience, often rooted in moments of belief, and a return to 'home'.
In addition to studio practice, I am a high school art teacher and co founder of nonprofit that supports young artists. I am deeply committed to fostering creativity, confidence and voice in students. I believe in the power of being seen and supported, both in the classroom and beyond. This philosophy is carried into my own work, sharing hope while inviting viewers to pause, reflect and even share an experience.
